LOW
CROFT COTTAGE is situated in a quiet mews courtyard, in the
centre of Grasmere village. It is close to all amenities, bus
stops, and the lake. Nearby is a children's playground, rowing
boat hire, and the start of many popular walks.
There is a parking space for one car. Low Croft is non smoking
and we cannot accept pets. |
| The cottage which was part
of the old drill hall was renovated by ourselves. The original
beams and roof angles have been retained to preserve the character
of the building. Heating in all rooms is by night storage heater. |

The ground floor entrance
has a large storage cupboard and coat rail, the staircase leads
to the first floor lounge which has comfortable seating, television,
video recorder and dining area. The kitchen is very well equipped
with cooker, fridge, microwave and washer/dryer |
The two bedrooms with the
original beams and roof angles are on the second floor. There
is one double bedroom and one twin with duvets and Dorma bed
linen provided.
The bathroom has a three piece suite complete with shower over
bath and heater. The cottage is furnished and decorated to a
very high standard and is under the personal supervision of
the owners. |
